Before our first session, I just ask that you clear a small workspace where we can sort items, and if possible, gather any storage containers you already own. That’s it! Everything else, we’ll tackle together during our session.
I bring basic organizing supplies and tools to every session. For personalized storage solutions (bins, baskets, drawer organizers, etc.), I’ll assess your needs and provide recommendations. You can purchase items yourself, or I can source and coordinate everything for you.
For styling projects, I’ll create a shopping list, and we can discuss whether you’d like to shop independently or have me handle the purchasing.
Most single-room projects take 4-8 hours depending on the size and complexity. A closet might be done in one 4-hour session, while a full kitchen or garage could take 2-3 sessions. Some people request ongoing help with even larger projects. During our initial consultation, I’ll give you a realistic timeline based on your specific space and goals.
It's up to you how involved you would like to be. While I will need you to have some final say on most items before we gift or dispose of them, you and I will have a discussion to be sure we are clear on what the expectation is for client involvement.
Please don’t be! I’ve seen it all, and I’m here to help, not judge. Life gets busy—especially for working parents—and spaces become cluttered. That’s exactly why I do this work. Every project starts exactly where you are, and my goal is to create systems that work for YOUR lifestyle.
Yes! As part of the service, I’ll bag and box items for donation, and I will bring one trunk load in my car to a local donation center. I can also provide you with a list of local donation centers. For an additional fee, I can also coordinate donation pickups or handle further drop-offs myself so you don’t have to worry about it.
I am passionate about helping people part with their belongings in a sustainable and ecofriendly way. Donations are a great way to make this happen.
If you want a clear plan you can execute yourself, the Design Consultation is a great starting point, it's a 90-minute walkthrough plus a written plan you can act on. If you'd rather hand off the sourcing, shopping, and setup entirely, Full-Service is built for that. Not sure which fits? Reach out and we can talk through it, and if you start with a consultation and later want more hands-on help, that fee is credited toward the larger project.
The Design Consultation is a 90-minute walkthrough plus a written plan you execute yourself. Full-Service starts the same way, but from there I handle the sourcing, shopping, and setup for you.
Yes. If you move forward with Full-Service within 30 days of your consultation, that fee is credited toward the larger project.
Definitely not! Many people have pieces they enjoy, they just need help re-envisioning their space. Other people will want to refresh a room by replacing items and decorations. This is completely up to you and your budget. I love to "shop" what is already in a home. You'd be surprised what purposeful re-arranging will do for a room!
We can figure that out together. I will have you create a mood board that helps to figure out what colors and styles you are drawn to naturally. Then we will build on that and make decisions together. Sometimes it's helpful just to know what you don't like!
We'll talk about budget during our initial walkthrough, before any sourcing starts. You tell me a range you're comfortable with, and I work within it, bringing you options at different price points so you're never surprised by what something costs. If we're doing Full-Service, keep in mind that furniture and decor are billed at cost plus a 20% sourcing fee, so your budget conversation should account for that when we're setting expectations. Nothing gets purchased without your sign-off first.
